Titanfall 2’s next DLC will release in a few days – May 30 to become exact – and will also introduce a completely new titan along with a rejigged map in the original game. Dubbed Monarch’s Reign, the brand new titan may be the titular Monarch, a “mid-range Vanguard-class Titan” which could upgrade quickly, mid-fight.
“Monarch’s design is dependant on the salvaged, badly burnt remains of two Vanguard-class Titans retrieved through the IMC in the Fight of Typhon,” Respawn explains. “As the Vanguard-class was created through the Militia for armed recon deep behind enemy lines, the IMC’s mandate for Monarch centered on versatility through survival and support options, for everyone many operational roles.”
Another big addition may be the Relic map, which you’ll want to recognise in the original Titanfall should you performed it. Some updates towards the Crashsite map will also be being ushered in, with “around 100” collision fixes throughout as well as an extra eight ziplines added. Oh, and much more wallrunning possibilities.
Individuals would be the biggies, however the full listing of updates are right here. Browse the trailer below.
